Greetings. Are you aware of any thing related to John Kennon Lockett of Whitmell VA? From 1880 to 1895 he ran a feed store/farm implement store in Whitmell. He was married to Lucy Alice Baskerville of Mecklenburg Co and Eliza Payne of Whitmell. Their daughter Lucy Lockett Whitehead is my great grandmother. Appreciate anything you can share with me.
I’m not very familiar with the Lockett family of Whitmell. I think Eliza and John married at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Whitmell in 1874.
